Shenango Volleyball Secures Second Conference Win with Sweep of DuBois

The Penn State Shenango Women's Volleyball team earned its second conference victory of the season with a dominant 3–0 sweep over Penn State DuBois on Thursday night. The Lady Lions controlled the match throughout, winning by set scores of 25–16, 25–15, and 25–14.
Shenango's balanced attack produced 27 kills on the evening, highlighted by strong performances from Sydney Ward and Savana Shipman, who each tallied eight points. Ward finished with six kills and a solo block, while Shipman added eight kills and 12 digs. Setter Jadeyn Zepeda directed the offense with 24 assists and contributed four kills of her own. Gabby Villanueva Santos provided a spark at the service line with five aces and eight digs, while Taegan Scheller matched her with five service aces. Jillian Palumbo anchored the back row defensively, recording 12 digs.
As a team, Shenango registered 12 service aces, 49 digs, and held DuBois to a negative hitting percentage across all three sets. The victory improves Shenango's record in conference play to 2–0.
