Penn State Shenango baseball completed the Saturday sweep of Penn State Fayette, securing a 7-5 victory in the nightcap. While the opener was defined by an offensive explosion, the second game of the doubleheader saw Shenango lean on timely hitting and a resilient effort from the bullpen to clinch the conference sweep.

Shenango struck early, jumping out to a 4-0 lead by the end of the second inning. The offensive effort was anchored by Dominic Fornataro, who continued his hot streak by going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Troy Bachman also played a pivotal role in the victory, turning in a 2-for-4 performance with a go-ahead home run in the 7th.

The middle innings saw Fayette attempt to close the gap, but the Shenango bullpen proved up to the task. Will Perry started the contest, fanning five in 3.1 critical innings and Anthony Miller took over in relief, striking out four batters over 2.2 innings. In the final frame, Brady Walker took the mound to close the door. Walker tossed a scoreless seventh inning, recording one strikeout to earn the save and ensure Shenango returned home with two vital road wins.
