Faith Sullivan Dominates the Field at Lebanon Valley’s Last Chance Run Fast Event
Penn State Shenango's Faith Sullivan once again proved why she's one of the top runners in the PSUAC and beyond, capturing 1st place overall at the LVC Last Chance Run Fast Event held Friday, October 24, at Union Canal Tunnel Park in Lebanon, PA.
Sullivan, a sophomore standout, blazed through the 6K course in just 24:46.5, averaging a 6:38 mile pace to outdistance the entire collegiate field by more than a full minute. Her performance not only topped the PSUAC runners but also bested competitors from NCAA programs such as Lebanon Valley College, Penn College, and Monroe University. The Shenango star established control early in the race and never looked back—maintaining a consistent, powerful stride that separated her from the pack by the halfway mark. Despite challenging conditions on the rolling Lebanon Valley course, Sullivan's determination and endurance shone through as she crossed the finish line nearly 70 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
This victory caps off an incredible regular season for Sullivan, who has consistently placed among the top collegiate runners across every meet this fall. Her performance at Lebanon Valley reaffirms her position as one of the premier runners in the USCAA and PSUAC, and she continues to set the standard for excellence in Penn State Shenango Athletics.
As postseason competition approaches, all eyes will be on Sullivan to continue her dominant streak and represent Shenango on the biggest stage yet.
