Bio

Bringing immense experience to the team, Senchak coached five years for the Loudoun County High School varsity volleyball program in Virginia, leading the team to five consecutive state titles. Previously, he led the Tuscarora High School program for two seasons, ultimately earning a state championship. He also led the Dominion High School Volleyball program for five years, taking a nondescript program and leading the team to the first conference championship in the school's history.

He began playing 2-man volleyball on the beaches of Athens, Greece while in the United States Army, and has played competitively for more than 15 years. He has also coached youth hockey, baseball, and football. After serving in the Army for 22 years, Senchak retired as a first sergeant and proceeded to enter a career with the Central Intelligence Agency for 12 years.

Senchak is currently the director of Tier One Volleyball Club in Virginia, which was founded as an option for players committed to growth as both leaders and athletes. Opting for early retirement, Senchak enjoys spending time with his family and focusing on coaching volleyball. Originally from Wilkes Barre, Senchak currently resides in Virginia with his wife, Debbie, their daughter, Kaitlyn, and the family husky, Kodiak, while their son, Jacob, is attending law school.

The 2023 season will mark the second at Penn State Shenango for Coach Senchak.
