Hubbard Senior Commits to Penn State Shenango Volleyball
Sharon, PA - Coach Nych has her first official committment for the 2022 competition year. Paige Reed, a setter from Hubbard High School (Oh), has committed to Penn State Shenango to continue her education as a nursing major and athletic career on the volleyball team.
Reed ended her high school career with some extremely impressive statistics on the court, including 16 kills and a .213 hitting %. Reed also added 229 service aces, and 564 assists. "Paige will make an excellent addition to the roster as we are losing setter Giaona Caputo to State College," commented Coach Nych. "She will play an integral role alongside setter Emily Bortnick. She is also graduating with honors and is involved in many clubs which will make her an excellent addition to the entire Shenango campus."
Reed ended her career with 3 varsity letters. Reed also competed in the club circuit with Mahoning Valley Premier team, and also assisted the middle school team with coaching in her spare time.
