After a tight battle through three quarters, the Lions took control in the fourth, outscoring Schuylkill 19–8 to finish strong.
The opening half featured steady contributions across the lineup. Schuylkill held a slim edge after the first quarter, but Shenango answered with a strong second period behind activity on the glass and ball movement. Oyin Adio helped set the tone with aggressive drives and playmaking, while Bri Krenzer provided energy off the bench, extending possessions with offensive rebounds and finishing inside. Shenango's defensive pressure forced key turnovers, allowing the Lions to take a 31–25 lead into halftime.
The third quarter proved challenging, as Shenango was limited offensively and Schuylkill briefly regained momentum. Despite the scoring drought, the Lions stayed locked in defensively. Gabrielle King controlled the paint with physical rebounding, and Kayla Owen created disruption with active hands on the perimeter, keeping the game within reach heading into the fourth.
Shenango's response in the final quarter was decisive. Samair Colon sparked the rally with shot-making from the perimeter and strong finishes, while Kimora Roberts added poise with ball movement, defensive pressure, and timely rebounds. The Lions also capitalized at the free-throw line in the closing moments, turning stops into points to stretch the lead.
Colon finished with 21 points, while King recorded a double-digit rebounding effort to anchor the interior. Adio filled the stat sheet with eight points, five rebounds, and four assists, and Owen contributed three steals and multiple hustle plays that shifted momentum. Shenango's defense forced 10 steals, and the Lions won the rebounding battle 41–38, including 16 offensive rebounds, to earn a gritty and well-balanced road victory.
