SHARON, PA – Penn State Shenango Athletics is excited to announce the release of its 2024-25 Men's and Women's Basketball schedules. Both teams are gearing up for a dynamic season filled with competitive matchups and local rivalries that promise to engage and excite fans in the Shenango Valley.

Men's Basketball:

The Penn State Shenango Men's Basketball team, under the leadership of first-year Head Coach Michael Wernicki, is ready for a season packed with high-stakes games and significant opportunities. With a talented roster and a challenging schedule, the team is poised for an impressive season.

The program's new head coach is excited about the upcoming campaign, "With five of our top six leading scorers returning, we are very excited about the opportunities the 2024-25 schedule affords us. The schedule is highlighted by a December 5th visit to Division I-Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA, along with games versus Division II opponents such as Point Park and Malone University. We are also excited to continue our local rivalries with Allegheny, Westminster, and Thiel. It will be another competitive and challenging PSUAC season, both at home and on the road."

Home Opener: November 12, 2024, against Villa Maria at 7:30 PM

Feature Game: December 5, 2024, against Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA

Women's Basketball:

The Shenango Women's Basketball team, led by fourth-year Head Coach Cimone Reid, is ready to build on last season's USCAA Tournament appearance with a challenging and diverse schedule. The season is set to showcase a mix of competitive conference games and thrilling non-conference clashes.

Home Opener: November 12, 2024, against Berkeley at 5:30 PM

Key Conference Game: November 22, 2024, against Penn State Lehigh Valley

Rivalry Matchups: February 4/21, 2025, against Penn State Beaver
