Florida Native Commit's to PSU Shenango Basketball
Eric Howard of Fivay High school in Port Richey, FL committed to Shenango on Saturday. Howard was a 1,000 point scorer, and had some impressive stats including 18.8 points per game, 4.9 assists per game, and 4.3 rebounds per game in his 3 years as a varsity player. This is Coach Johnson's second official commit of the year, with another 2 announcing later today.
Coach Johnson had this to say about his most recent recruit, "Eric is a strong athlete with the skill to match. Just as important is his incredibly positive attitude and determined spirit. We expect him to fit in seamlessly with our up-tempo on court style of play but also to enhance our off court culture of academics, respect and effort."
"I chose Shenango because Coach Johnson gave me a chance when others didn't. I really liked my visit and the current players are really cool," said Howard.
Howard will enter Shenango in the Fall and is currently undecided about his major.
