D2 Transfer Tyler James Commits to Penn State Shenango

Tyler James, a 2018 graduate of John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in Warren, Ohio signed with Penn State Shenango Men's Basketball yesterday.
The 6'6" post averaged 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks his senior year at JFK. Tyler helped lead the Eagles to a 15-11 overall record.
James went on to play his freshmen year at NCAA D2 Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia. Tyler appeared in 15 games for Alderson Broaddus.
Tyler will have 3 years of eligibility for the Lions.
Smith committed: Tyler will add size and depth to the post position. Tyler has the size to guard several positions and can defend the basket with his shot blocking ability.
Tyler is the son of Tameka Patterson.
