New Castle native Tyrone Steals signs with Shenango to finish his academic and athletic career. The 6'0" scoring guard last played at NCAA D2 California University of Pennsylvania under legendary Coach Bill Brown. Steals played a season high 14 minutes versus Gannon University and also scored career highs of 7 points twice versus West Virginia Wesleyan University and Shippensburg University.

 

Before his time at Cal U, Steals played one season at Community College of Beaver County and one season at Harcum Community College.

 

Smith stated: Tyrone will add scoring for us from the guard position. Tyrone can play and guard either guard positions due to his quickness and strength and will be looked upon to bring experience to the younger guys.

 

Tyrone is the son of Tyrone and Tracy Steals.
