Briggs, Stuyvesant Lead Shenango at Grove City Invitational
Penn State Shenango took the course at the Grove City College MBA Invitational, competing in a large and competitive field featuring several regional programs. The tournament proved to be a challenging test, with tight scoring at the top and limited separation throughout the field.
Shenango was led by Bowen Briggs and Nathan Stuyvesant, who each carded rounds of 82 (+10) to finish tied for 29th overall. Both players delivered consistent rounds and paced the Shenango lineup against a deep field.
Cody Anderson followed with an 89 (+17), placing tied for 66th, while Will Perry recorded a 92 (+20) to finish tied for 73rd. Jacob Csonka posted a 94 (+22), landing in a tie for 81st, and Mason Vannoy added a 98 (+26), finishing tied for 84th. Rounding out the Shenango lineup, Tyler Evans shot a 101 (+29).
The invitational featured a tightly contested leaderboard, with three players finishing tied for first at +3, highlighting the overall difficulty of the course and level of competition.
