Penn State Shenango Golf Caps Historic Season at Nationals
State College, PA – October 2025
The Penn State Shenango Co-Ed Golf team wrapped up an unforgettable 2025 season with a strong showing at the combined PSUAC/USCAA Championship event, marking the most successful season in program history. Competing against the best collegiate golfers in the country, the Lions proudly finished 5th in the PSUAC Championship and 10th overall in the USCAA National field, cementing their place among the elite.
Representing Shenango was Nathan Stuyvesant, Bowen Briggs, Mason Vannoy, Will Perry, Cody Anderson, Jacob Csonka, Remington Hart, Tyler Evans, and Faith Sullivan — a talented lineup that showcased depth, determination, and teamwork from start to finish.
At the event, held at Penn State's Blue Course, Shenango's depth shined with consistent play across the lineup:
-
Nathan Stuyvesant led the way, carding back-to-back 78s to finish tied for 11th at +12, just three strokes out of the top 10.
-
Bowen Briggs rallied with a strong second round of 76 to finish at +17, while Cody Anderson (+19), Tyler Evans (+20), Remington Hart (+20), and Mason Vanoy (+22) all landed in the top 30.
-

On the women's side, Faith Sullivan proudly represented Penn State Shenango, finishing 9th in the USCAA Women's Championship with rounds of 111 and 99 for a two-day total of 210.
In a historic moment for the program, both Tyler Evans and Faith Sullivan were honored as USCAA Golf Student-Athletes of the Year — a remarkable dual achievement that reflects not only their performance on the course but also their excellence in leadership, academics, and community involvement.
The success of this season wouldn't have been possible without the leadership and dedication of Shenango's outstanding coaching staff — Tom Roskos, Bob Collins, and Ron Mutinelli. Their commitment to player development, sportsmanship, and the growth of the program has elevated Shenango golf to new heights. The team credits them as "the best coaches in either division," and it's clear their impact has laid the foundation for continued success.
From the team's first-ever tournament win earlier in the season, to top-10 national finishes and two national awards, the 2025 Penn State Shenango Co-Ed Golf team has made history. Their season stands as a testament to hard work, belief, and unity — and it's only the beginning for this rapidly rising program.
