Sharon, PA- With the 2025 season on the horizon, Penn State Shenango Golf enters with confidence, grit, and a hunger to take the program to new heights. Led by Head Coach Tom Roskos and supported by assistants Bob Collins and Ron Mutinelli, the team has one clear goal in mind: win tournaments and finish stronger than ever at the USCAA/PSUAC Championship. Shenango has been steadily improving year to year, and players say this is the season to make the leap. The excitement is evident as practices intensify leading into the first match on September 4th at the Penn State White Course at University Park. Returning standouts set the tone for this competitive roster. Jr. Nathan Stuyvesant leads the men's side after finishing 4th overall at the Blue Course Invitational last fall with a round of 77. So. Bowen Briggs has been a steady scorer and will be key again. Seniors Tyler Evans and Will Perry provide veteran leadership, while So. Mason Vannoy adds reliable depth. On the women's side, Faith Sullivan is looking to build on her breakout 2024 campaign, where she captured 1st place at the Blue Course Invitational with a round of 94. Her continued development adds another layer of strength to the program. Freshmen Cody Anderson and Jacob Csonka, along with So. Remington Hart, bring youthful energy and talent that rounds out a balanced, hungry squad. The ultimate target is the USCAA/PSUAC Championship in October, and the Lions believe this could be their best season yet.
