Penn State Shenango Men's Basketball Signs Athlete Brayden Martin

Sharon, Pa--Penn State Shenango Athletic Director/Men's Head Basketball Coach Andre Smith has signed Grove City High School’s Brayden Martin. Martin has committed to continue his education and basketball career at Penn State Shenango. Martin, a 6’4" athletic wing, averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds for the Grove City Eagles.

Martin helped lead Grove City to an 18-8 overall record while also capturing 2nd team All-Region honors on the hardwood. Martin shot 32 percent from the arc and 53 percent from the field. He is an all around athlete as a 3-year letterman in basketball, 2-year letterman in football, and 3-year letterman in baseball.

He is the son of Karen and Kevin Martin.

Coach Smith commented that Brayden is a smart player that comes from a winning program. His length and athleticism will allow him to defend multiple positions.
