SHARON, PA- After a back and forth game all night long, Andy Kwaitkowski hit a jumper with 36 seconds left on the clock to put Penn State Hazleton out in front by 1 but still plenty of time left for Brayden Martin to work his magic. With 18 seconds left on the clock Martin calmly canned a three from the right side of the court to put Penn State Shenango out in front for good, 62-60. Martin came off the bench to play 33 minutes and finished with 10 points on the night. The game went back and forth all night long with Penn State Shenango taking it's biggest lead into the intermission up by 10, 36-26. Hazleton came out of the locker riding on the back of Robbie Hopkins' sharp shooting to quickly get back into the mix. Hopkins finished with 19 points for PSU Hazelton while Brandon Mohammed came off the bench to add his own double double with 12 points and 10 boards.

Penn State Shenango boosts their record to 9-10 overall and 8-5 in the conference. With Penn State Mont Alto giving Penn State Wilkes Barre their first conference loss of the year tonight, the Lions still remain 2 games back of first place and 1 back from second.

The Lions have no time to rest as they take the court again versus Penn State Schuylkill (7-12, 5-8) who beat Penn State New Kensington tonight as well. Game time is at 2:00 pm and as always at the home of the Lion's, The Buhl Recreation Center. The game will also be aired live on WPIC 790 am pregame starting at 1:45.
